As part of a cross-border solidarity initiative, NAAWU union leaders from India participated in a capacity-building exposure visit to Thangaadi, Nepal. The focus was on understanding the ongoing efforts to release and rehabilitate Dalit and Adivasi bonded seed workers. Through field interactions, dialogues with local activists, and firsthand learning from community struggles, the delegation gained deep insights into caste-based labor exploitation, grassroots organizing, and worker-led rehabilitation models. This exchange strengthened regional solidarity and inspired strategies for inclusive labor justice back home.
